Directions

By Road :
If you are approaching from Glasgow take the A82 towards Crianlarich, then Tyndrum, and the A85 towards Oban. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. From Edinburgh aim for Stirling and take the A82 to Lochearnhead, then the A85 via Crianlarich to Oban.
From the North, aim for Fort William then take the A82 to Ballachulish and the A828 to Oban.

By Train :
There are two return journeys from Oban to Glasgow Queen Street Station each day. Timetables are available from Scotrail, telephone 08457 484950, or see details on their website ( website http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/index.php).

Travelling to Mull

The Isle of Mull can be reached by Caledonian MacBrayne vehicles ferries
(Oban - Craignure or Lochaline - Fishnish). Sailings are regular during the summer but booking arrangements and check in times do vary. 
Guests are advised to make a reservation on the Oban - Craignure route for any vehicle in advance.  See website for details

Once on the Island , take the A849 to Salen, then turn left onto the B8035 at the Church. Follow this road for 3 miles then you will reach a junction with a telephone box and bus shelter, bear left at this junction.

‘Continue for half a mile where you will reach a small humpback bridge.   The Riverside Cottages’ driveway is the first left after the bridge, and Bridge Cottage is the first detached cottage after the bridge on the left.’

For Dhiseig please continue on this road along the south side of Loch na Keal for another 4 miles where you will come to the well signposted driveway on the left.  Dhiseig Cottage and Chalet are found up this winding driveway.
